Six and a half years apart, Ava and Sky share a bond built on trust, laughter, and endless sisterhood. Ava is Sky’s confidant, her steady presence, and her best friend. The bride truly couldn’t imagine doing any of this without her by her side.
The baby sister who made Skylar a built-in second mom
Peyton is the bride’s baby sister and Skylar’s forever “little doll.” With nearly a 14-year age gap, Sky has always been a second mom to P. You can usually find Sky doing Peyton’s hair and makeup for dance competitions, smiling, laughing, and making TikToks the whole time.
From driveway playdates to lifelong memories
Sky and Chloe met at ages three and four on Cedar Waxwing Drive and have been inseparable ever since. Chloe is the funny one; Sky is the motherly one. Their childhood was filled with Eloise at the Plaza, Bride Wars, and Cheetah Girls dance parties, where, of course, they were the Cheetah Girls.
Aunt by title, 11 months older by age, best friend for life.
Believe it or not, Ellie is the bride’s aunt, even though they’re only 11 months apart. Growing up, they told people they were cousins just to keep things simple. Their sleepovers were legendary: Dream Life video games, mini golf in Brigantine, and choreographed performances designed to butter up their parents for just one more sleepover.
Late-night laughs and reality TV recaps
Cam is the ultimate catch-up-on-the-phone buddy, especially when it comes to gossiping about the shows she and Skylar binge as true TV junkies. She’s often over at Sky and Bryce’s house for dinner, hanging out, or laughing late into the night. Cam is Sky & Ava's favorite partner for sister nights on Cedar Court's back patio.
First school friend, forever best friend
Jess was Skylar’s very first school friend, and the two have been glued together since kindergarten. Sky is also the proud godmother of Jess’s son, Roman, whom she talks about, photographs, and brags about constantly. Anyone who knew them growing up remembers them as the two besties in matching Justice and Limited Too outfits.
The sister-in-law Skylar always dreamed of
Skylar often says she “hit the sister-in-law jackpot.” As the eldest daughters in their families, Sky and Brooke clicked immediately. She may be Bryce’s sister, but she quickly became a friend to the bride. The two love sneaking out for coffee dates to catch up on life, wedding talk, and all the little things in between.
A friendship that was simply meant to be
Sky and Remy met the summer before middle school during a planned mall trip and have been inseparable ever since. Their friendship even rhymes: Remy Shae & Skylar Rae, truly meant to be. They’re the kind of friends who can go weeks without seeing each other and still pick up exactly where they left off.
From football games to passport stamps
Julia and Skylar went from Friday night high school football games to London adventures and double dates in Sea Isle. Together, they’ve become an iconic duo. Sky frequently requests Julia’s homemade sourdough cinnamon rolls for her siblings, and never forgets to ask for a bag of her favorite Swedish candy from a shop near Julia’s office.

Yes, his name is also Bryce, seriously! BZ and BE can often be found at Diorio’s or Charlie’s, catching up over college football and good food. Some of BZ’s favorite memories are with BE, especially their impromptu trip to the Edmunds family vacation home in Reunion, Florida.
Fantasy football debates and Philly pride
Yes, another one of the bride’s siblings! Bryce and Nick bond over fantasy football and all things Philadelphia sports, with Nick especially enjoying keeping Bryce humble whenever he does something “unc.”
At the heart of every childhood story
When Bryce talks about growing up, Geoff is at the center of almost every story. Most days were spent at Geoff’s house, roughhousing with him and his brothers and creating memories that have lasted decades. These days, they still face off in competitive spikeball matches at Longport Beach, usually ending with an ocean dip and plenty of laughs.
Josh — Groom’s Childhood Best Friend
Best friends, friendly rivals
Josh and Bryce aren’t just childhood friends, they’re true best friends. Bryce loves giving Josh a hard time (always out of love) and naturally takes on the “older brother” role despite being the same age. They often play chess together, where Josh wins about 99% of the time.
Always joking, always keeping things lively
Jake and Bryce are usually posted up on the Lacey family couch, joking around with a game playing in the background. Jake is also known for panic-calling Bryce whenever he needs more uniforms for his mobile detailing business, always expecting (and receiving) royal-treatment service.
Long calls, long summers, lifelong friendship
Bryce and Keegan can talk for hours, fantasy football, life updates, and childhood memories always making the agenda. In the summer, you’ll find them at Longport Beach, locked into intense spikeball matches and football throws. Bryce still reminds Keegan about that iconic Phillies sweatshirt… the one Keegan is "never getting back."
Built on trust, friendship, and shared ambition
Dom has been a childhood friend of Bryce’s, and over the years their bond has grown into a trusted business partnership. They catch up weekly, talking business goals, future plans, and ideas, some they’ll chase together, others independently. They even co-own a condo in Somers Point, making their relationship part friendship, part business.
Brian — Groom’s Cousin
The older brother he never had
Bryce often refers to Brian as the older brother he never had. He can’t remember a time in his life when Brian wasn’t there. Some of his greatest memories include Sunday dinners at the Gaffneys and driving store to store with Brian in the family business.
Little John — Friend Turned Family
Elite ball knowledge required
Little John is like a younger brother to Bryce. Most Sundays find them on the Gaffney sofa yelling at the TV after a Jalen Hurts interception or passionately debating sports, while being waited on by Chef Bridget, of course 😅. As Bryce always says, “Little John has elite ball knowledge.”

The smallest member of the bridal party with the biggest spotlight
Roman is the bride’s godson and the little boy she proudly brags about every chance she gets. As Jess’s son and Skylar’s favorite sidekick, he holds a very special place in her heart. You’ll often find Sky snapping photos of him, picking up small treats “just because,” or bringing him up in conversation because if you’ve spent any time around her lately, you already know Roman.
